Seven West Indies Players to Train at Chennai Super Kings Academy

Seven promising young cricketers from the West Indies are set to undergo a two-week intensive training camp at the Chennai Super Kings Academy, starting December 1, the Cricket West Indies (CWI) announced.

The training camp, aimed at honing the skills of these talented players, will be accompanied by West Indies Academy head coach Ramesh Subasinghe and assistant coach Rohan Nurse. The group of players will depart for India on November 29.

Among the selected players are three contracted franchise players — Kirk McKenzie, Matthew Nandu, and Kevin Wickham. The group also includes current and former West Indies Academy players Teddy Bishop and Jewel Andrew, alongside former West Indies Under-19 cricketers Jordan Johnson and Ackeem Auguste.

This training camp is a part of the West Indies’ efforts to nurture young talent and prepare them for international cricket, with the Chennai Super Kings Academy providing the perfect environment for their development.
