Reliance Infrastructure Pays Rs 92.68 Crore, Seeks Withdrawal of NCLT Insolvency Order
Reliance Infrastructure announced on Monday that it has made the full payment of Rs 92.68 crore to Dhursar Solar Power Pvt Ltd towards tariff claims, rendering the insolvency proceedings initiated against it by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Mumbai infructuous.
In a filing to the stock exchange, the company stated, “The company has made full payment of Rs 92.68 crore to Dhursar Solar Power Private Limited, towards claim of tariff as per the Energy Purchase Agreement with the company.”
Reliance Infrastructure further said it plans to appeal before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) and seek the withdrawal of the May 30, 2025 order by NCLT Mumbai that had initiated the corporate insolvency resolution process against it.
The development follows disputes over tariff payments under the Energy Purchase Agreement, which had led Dhursar Solar Power Pvt Ltd to seek insolvency proceedings. With the full payment now made, Reliance Infrastructure aims to resolve the matter and avoid further legal complications.
