Ranbir Kapoor Credits Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Shaping His Craft

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, who is teaming up with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 18 years, said the director has been instrumental in shaping his understanding of cinema.

Kapoor, who made his acting debut in Bhansali’s “Saawariya” in 2007, stated that everything he knows about the craft of acting was “seeded in” by the acclaimed filmmaker.

The duo is now collaborating on the upcoming epic saga “Love & War”, set to release on March 20, 2026. The film stars Kapoor alongside his wife Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, generating high anticipation among fans for the trio’s on-screen chemistry under Bhansali’s direction.
