Prof. Dipak Sahoo Appointed as VSSUT Vice Chancellor

Bhubaneswar, Feb 8: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati has appointed Prof. Dipak Kumar Sahoo as the new Vice Chancellor of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla. Currently a Professor at the School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Prof. Sahoo brings with him a vast academic and administrative experience.

An alumnus of OUTR, CUSAT, and IIT Roorkee, Prof. Sahoo completed his B.Sc. in Engineering, M.Tech., and Ph.D., respectively. Additionally, he holds an LLB degree and has 14 years of teaching experience, contributing to his overall 24-year-long academic career.

His appointment is expected to bring new advancements to VSSUT’s academic and research ecosystem, further strengthening its position as a premier technical institution in Odisha.
