Prime Video Reveals First Look of Bhumi Pednekar-Starrer ‘Daldal’ at IFFI 2025

Streaming platform Prime Video unveiled the first look of its upcoming psychological crime thriller series “Daldal” during a special showcase at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Panaji on Wednesday.

The series stars Bhumi Pednekar as Mumbai’s newly appointed DCP Rita Ferreira, whose investigation of a brutal killer draws her into the city’s moral grey zones while forcing her to confront buried memories. Based on Vish Dhamija’s bestselling novel “Bhendi Bazaar”, Daldal promises a gripping blend of suspense, crime, and psychological drama.

Created by Suresh Triveni and directed by Amrit Raj Gupta, the series is produced under Abundantia Entertainment and also features Aditya Rawal and Samara Tijori. The first look reveals the intense tone of the series, hinting at a dark and thrilling narrative that explores crime, morality, and human psychology in Mumbai.

The showcase at IFFI 2025 generated excitement among audiences and critics alike, marking a significant addition to India’s streaming content landscape.
