President of India Presents Padma Awards 2025 at Civil Investiture Ceremony-I

In a grand ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening, the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, conferred the prestigious Padma Awards for the year 2025. The awards — Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri — were presented during the Civil Investiture Ceremony-I.

The event witnessed the presence of several eminent dignitaries, including the Vice President of India, the Prime Minister, and the Union Minister for Home Affairs, among others.

The Padma Awards are among the highest civilian honors of India, recognizing individuals for their distinguished contributions across various fields such as art, literature, education, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, social work, and sports.

The ceremony highlighted the spirit of excellence and service among the awardees, who have made significant contributions to society and the nation.

A second Civil Investiture Ceremony is expected to be held later for the remaining awardees.
