President Extends Greetings on Guru Ravidas Jayanti

President Droupadi Murmu on Friday extended warm greetings to citizens on the eve of the birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas Ji, paying tribute to the revered saint and social reformer for his enduring message of equality and social harmony.

In her message, the President conveyed best wishes to people across the country and highlighted Guru Ravidas Ji’s contributions toward promoting social justice and human values. She noted that his teachings emphasised love, simplicity and moral discipline, while strongly opposing discrimination based on caste and religion.

President Murmu said the thoughts and ideals of Guru Ravidas Ji continue to remain relevant in contemporary society and serve as a guiding light for embracing compassion and unity. She also urged citizens to imbibe his teachings in their daily lives and actively participate in nation-building efforts.
