President Murmu Confers National Awards on Teachers, Highlights Their Pivotal Role in Nation-Building
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, honored educators from across the nation with the prestigious National Awards in a grand ceremony held in New Delhi. The awards recognize the exceptional contributions of teachers to the education system and their impact on future generations.
In her address, President Murmu lauded teachers as the cornerstone of any education system, emphasizing that their role goes beyond imparting knowledge. “Teachers are entrusted with the responsibility of shaping citizens who are not only educated but also compassionate, ethical, and enterprising,” she said.
