PM Modi Praises Odisha’s Cultural Legacy on Statehood Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to the people of Odisha on their formation day, Utkala Dibasa, celebrating the state’s rich cultural heritage and contributions to India’s history, literature, and music.

The Prime Minister emphasized that both the Centre and Odisha’s state government have made significant efforts over the past year to advance the state’s development. He lauded the collective progress made by the people of Odisha in several sectors, acknowledging their contributions to the country’s growth.

Utkala Dibasa, celebrated annually on April 1, marks the formation of Odisha as a separate province in 1936. This year’s celebrations were a reflection of the state’s continued cultural, social, and economic advancement.
