Paul McCartney documentary ‘Man on the Run’ to premiere on Prime Video Feb 25
A new documentary titled Man on the Run, chronicling legendary musician Paul McCartney’s creative journey after the breakup of The Beatles, will stream globally on Prime Video from February 25, the platform announced on Monday.
Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville, the documentary delves into McCartney’s life during the 1970s — a decade marked by reinvention, experimentation, and resilience. It explores how McCartney, along with his wife Linda, formed the band Wings and carved out a distinct musical identity separate from The Beatles’ shadow.
According to Prime Video, Man on the Run offers “an intimate and vulnerable lens” on McCartney’s evolution as an artist, featuring rare archival footage and never-before-seen moments from his personal and professional life.
The film promises to provide fans and music enthusiasts an in-depth look at how one of the world’s greatest musicians navigated fame, creativity, and reinvention in the years following one of music history’s most significant breakups.
