Oriental Trimex Turns Profitable in FY25, Secures 30-Year Granite Mine Lease in Odisha
Oriental Trimex Ltd, a leading natural marble importer and processor, announced a turnaround in its financial performance for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025. The company posted a net profit of ₹8.53 crore in FY25, recovering from a net loss of ₹6.48 crore in the previous fiscal, driven by a substantial rise in operational revenue.
Revenue from operations surged to ₹21.02 crore in FY25, a significant leap from ₹3.64 crore recorded in FY24, the company said in a regulatory statement issued on Monday.
In a major development, Oriental Trimex also secured a 30-year lease for a black granite mine in Odisha, awarded by the state government. The company estimates the mining block to contribute an annual revenue of ₹10–15 crore going forward.
“The grant of the black granite mine marks a strategic milestone for the company and is expected to strengthen our position in the natural stone industry,” the statement added.
With the new mining lease and strong financial recovery, Oriental Trimex is poised for further growth in the coming years, tapping into both domestic and export markets.
