One Killed, Three Injured in Family Clash Over Land Dispute in Odisha

A violent clash between two families over a land dispute led to the death of one person and left three others critically injured in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Wednesday, police said.
The incident occurred in Chhatrapada village under Pirahat police station limits. According to officials, the altercation began as a verbal dispute between the families of Abani Nayak and Amulya Nayak but soon escalated into a violent confrontation.
“Abani Nayak allegedly died on the spot after being attacked by members of Amulya’s family, while three members of Amulya’s family sustained serious injuries during the fight,” police stated.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, and security in the area has been tightened to prevent further escalation of tensions.
