In a tragic road accident on Thursday morning, two vegetable sellers lost their lives when a mini-truck they were traveling in collided with a stationary goods vehicle in Ganjam district.

The accident occurred on the national highway near Pitala, under the jurisdiction of the Hinjili police station. The mini-truck was on its way to Berhampur when it crashed into the parked vehicle, police reported.

The driver of the mini-truck sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash.
