Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 to Showcase State’s Tourism Potential
Bhubaneswar, Feb 22: Odisha is set to host the much-anticipated Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 from February 24 to 27, a flagship event organized by the Odisha Tourism Department in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The event aims to position Odisha as a premier tourism destination for both domestic and international travelers.
Addressing the media on Saturday, Deputy Chief Minister Parvathi Parida emphasized that the Travel Bazaar will highlight the state’s rich cultural heritage, pristine beaches, eco-tourism, and adventure tourism offerings. The event will be held at Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium in Bhubaneswar.
A Premier Buyer-Seller Conference
Recognized as a key buyer-seller conference, the 6th edition of Odisha Travel Bazaar will bring together national and international travel and tour operators, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and tourism vendors. The event provides an excellent platform for stakeholders to explore the state’s diverse tourism offerings and foster strategic business collaborations.
Parida highlighted that Odisha’s hidden travel gems are increasingly attracting travelers looking for authentic experiences. The state’s unique blend of natural beauty and cultural vibrancy makes it an ideal destination for tourists seeking diverse travel opportunities.
Global Participation and Key Attractions
The event is set to witness participation from around 100 domestic tour operators from over 30 cities in India and more than 30 foreign tour operators from 17 countries, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, and Singapore.
A key highlight of the event will be B2B meetings between 70 sellers, domestic tour operators (DTOs), and foreign tour operators (FTOs) to facilitate business collaborations. Additionally, B2G meetings will be held to discuss potential investments and tourism development strategies.
Participants will also get the opportunity to visit Odisha’s prominent tourist destinations, including Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle. These excursions will allow stakeholders to experience Odisha’s rich art, culture, and natural beauty firsthand.
