Odisha to Disburse 5th Phase of Subhadra Yojana on March 6

The Odisha government will release ₹5,000 each to 1.7 lakh women beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana on March 6, 2025, as part of the scheme’s fifth-phase disbursement, an official confirmed on Sunday.
The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) announced that the scheme has crossed the one crore milestone, benefiting women across the state.
“More than 1.7 lakh women will receive the first installment of ₹5,000 in Phase 5 on March 6. Keeping our promise, the second installment of ₹5,000 will be disbursed to around one crore women on International Women’s Day (March 8, 2025),” the CMO posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The Subhadra Yojana aims to empower women financially and support their socio-economic development. With each phase, Odisha continues to strengthen its commitment to women’s welfare and progress.
