Odisha Signs MoU with EESL to Boost Energy Efficiency Initiatives

The Odisha government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) to drive large-scale energy efficiency measures across the state. The agreement, formalized on Friday, aims to promote collaboration in adopting advanced technologies and sustainable practices.

The pact was signed between the state’s Energy Department and EESL, a joint venture of public sector undertakings (PSUs) under the Ministry of Power, in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo.

According to an official statement, the partnership underscores Odisha’s commitment to fostering energy efficiency and sustainability across various sectors. By leveraging EESL’s expertise, the state aims to implement innovative solutions that will contribute to climate action and green development.
