Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Tuesday visited the residence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to offer his condolences on the passing of his father, veteran BJP leader and former Union Minister Debendra Pradhan.

Accompanied by his wife, Jayashree Kambhampati, the Governor met Pradhan and his family members after the minister returned to Bhubaneswar following the completion of his father’s last rites at Swargadwar in Puri. Expressing his grief, Kambhampati paid tribute to the late leader and offered words of support to the bereaved family.

Debendra Pradhan, a respected politician known for his contributions to national and state politics, passed away in Delhi on Monday. His demise has been mourned by leaders across party lines, acknowledging his legacy in public service.

Several political leaders and dignitaries are expected to visit the Pradhan residence in the coming days to pay their respects.
