Bhubaneswar, Odisha : Odisha FC has bolstered its attacking lineup by signing promising forward Rahul KP on a permanent transfer from Kerala Blasters FC. The 24-year-old will don the Kalinga Warriors jersey until the end of the 2026-27 Indian Super League (ISL) season, with an option to extend the contract for another year.
Rahul KP arrives at Odisha FC following a strong start to the 2024/25 ISL season with Kerala Blasters, where he made 11 appearances and scored a key goal in a 3-0 victory against Chennaiyin FC on November 24, 2024. During his tenure with the Yellow Army, Rahul played 89 matches across competitions, contributing over 10 goals.
The Thrissur-born footballer’s journey began in Kerala’s youth system, and he gained national recognition during the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Rahul later joined Indian Arrows, where he made his professional debut in the I-League during the 2017-18 season, amassing 40 appearances and six goals.
