Odisha CM Prioritises Public Grievance Redressal

Odisha Government Prioritising Common People’s Grievances, Says CM Majhi
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday said that his government is giving top priority to addressing the problems of common people through regular Jan Abhijog Sunani (public grievance hearings).
Majhi reiterated that the administration is working to dismantle the “artificial barrier” that existed between the government and citizens during the previous BJD regime. By directly engaging with the public, he said, the government aims to ensure transparency, accessibility and timely resolution of issues.
The chief minister attended the 15th public grievance hearing in Bhubaneswar, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari and Health Minister Mukesh Mahalang. Around 1,000 people were present to share their concerns and seek redressal.
Majhi said the initiative reflects his government’s commitment to responsive governance and strengthening trust between the administration and the people.
