Odisha CM Says Dharmendra’s Legacy Will Inspire Generations

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the death of legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra, saying his extraordinary legacy will continue to inspire generations of artistes and cinema lovers.

Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most iconic and beloved stars, passed away in Mumbai at the age of 89, police confirmed. His decades-long career spanned over 300 films across genres, earning him admiration from audiences and colleagues alike.

In a heartfelt post on X, Majhi wrote, “Deeply saddened to learn about the passing of legendary actor Shri Dharmendra ji. He captivated audiences for decades with his versatile performances and charismatic presence. His legacy will continue to inspire generations of artistes and cinema lovers.”

The chief minister also extended condolences to Dharmendra’s family, friends and fans, praying for peace to the departed soul.
