Odisha CM Orders Strict Action Against Illegal Bangladeshi Infiltrators

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday directed the police and district administration of Kendrapara to take stringent action against Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in the state.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to national security, Majhi emphasized the importance of deporting illegal immigrants in accordance with the law. He warned that such infiltrators could pose a threat to the country’s safety.

“The local police must work closely with central agencies to effectively address the complex issue of illegal immigration,” the Chief Minister said. The directive underscores Odisha’s proactive stance in dealing with immigration concerns in the region.
