Odisha CM Majhi Vows to Include All Eligible Farmers in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Within 15 Days

In a significant move to support the agricultural community, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Chanran Majhi announced on Tuesday that all left-out eligible farmers in the state will receive funds under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme within the next 15 days.
During his first public address since taking office on June 12, Chief Minister Majhi made the announcement in Bargarh, a district known for its agricultural prominence. “All eligible and left-out farmers of the state will be included in the scheme in the coming days,” Majhi stated, underscoring the new administration’s commitment to the welfare of farmers. He emphasized that the BJP-led government is determined to be more farmer-friendly than the previous BJD regime.
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is a central government initiative that provides financial assistance to farmers across India. By including all eligible farmers in Odisha, the state aims to ensure that every deserving farmer receives the necessary support to enhance their livelihoods and agricultural productivity.
Majhi’s announcement has been welcomed by the farming community, who have expressed hope that the swift implementation of the scheme will bring much-needed relief and support. The Chief Minister also highlighted the government’s efforts to streamline the process and ensure that funds are disbursed efficiently and transparently.
The move is part of a broader strategy by the new administration to prioritize agricultural development and address the challenges faced by farmers in Odisha. With this announcement, the state government aims to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for the agricultural sector, which is vital to the state’s economy and sustenance.
As the government prepares to implement this directive, officials have been instructed to expedite the identification and verification of all eligible farmers to ensure timely disbursement of funds. This initiative reflects the administration’s proactive approach to addressing the needs of the farming community and boosting agricultural growth in Odisha.
