Odisha CM Majhi Launches Instant Assistance Initiative at Grievance Cell Hearing

In a significant move aimed at addressing public grievances more effectively, the Odisha government on Monday launched a special initiative at the Chief Minister’s grievance cell to provide instant financial assistance to those in need.
The initiative, introduced under the direction of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, was implemented during the 9th grievance cell hearing session in Bhubaneswar. According to officials, the program ensures that urgent financial aid is provided on the spot to those requiring immediate support.
During the session, Majhi personally listened to the grievances of people who had assembled and took swift action to resolve their concerns. “The chief minister is committed to delivering prompt solutions to the issues faced by citizens, and this initiative is a step in that direction,” an official said.
The grievance cell hearing, a regular feature of the state administration, has been a key platform for direct interaction between the government and the public. With the introduction of this new mechanism, the state aims to enhance its responsiveness to urgent needs, further strengthening the trust between the government and the people.
The move has been widely appreciated as a proactive step toward ensuring timely relief to the most vulnerable sections of society.
