Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed optimism about future investments in the state after a successful meeting with ambassadors and representatives from 34 countries on Thursday. The discussions, held at a high-level event in New Delhi, centered on exploring investment opportunities across several key sectors in Odisha.

“I had a fruitful discussion with representatives of various nations, and we anticipate substantial investment in sectors like semiconductors, petrochemicals, IT, green energy, electronics, and food processing,” Majhi stated after the meeting.

The event brought together ambassadors, high commissioners, consul-generals, trade commissioners, and senior diplomats, allowing Odisha to showcase its potential as a lucrative destination for global investors.

Majhi emphasized Odisha’s focus on strengthening its industrial base, particularly in emerging sectors such as green energy and advanced electronics, which are critical for the state’s economic growth. The Chief Minister also underscored the state’s strategic location, skilled workforce, and business-friendly policies as attractive factors for global companies.
