NITI Aayog to Support Odisha in Preparing Vision Documents for 2036, 2047
BHUBANESWAR: The NITI Aayog has pledged its support to Odisha in the preparation of two ambitious vision documents aimed at propelling the state towards significant developmental milestones by the years 2036 and 2047. This initiative aligns with Odisha’s aspiration to become a “Bikasita Odisha” (developed Odisha).
Chief Minister Mohan Charan highlighted Odisha’s commitment to contributing substantially to India’s overall growth, envisioning the state as a major growth engine for the nation by 2047. He emphasized that Odisha’s strategic plans aim to achieve a robust 500 billion dollar economy by 2036, coinciding with the state’s centenary celebration of its formation.
The collaboration with NITI Aayog is expected to provide strategic guidance and comprehensive frameworks, enabling Odisha to chart a clear path toward economic and social development. The vision documents will outline key initiatives, policy reforms, and infrastructure projects designed to enhance the state’s economic landscape and improve the quality of life for its residents.
