Nawazuddin Siddiqui to Star as Fearless Customs Officer in ‘Costao’, Releasing May 1
Renowned actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, celebrated for his roles in films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Badlapur, Kick, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is set to play a fearless customs officer in his upcoming film Costao. The film, which is based on the life of Costao Fernandes, is set to premiere on ZEE5 on May 1.

Costao is a gripping tale set in 1990s Goa, where Siddiqui’s character, Costao, takes on gold smugglers and the rampant corruption around him, despite facing several personal challenges. The movie promises to showcase Siddiqui’s signature intense and nuanced performance, as he brings the real-life figure of Costao Fernandes to life on screen.

Directed by debutant Sejal Shah, Costao also stars Priya Bapat, Kishore Kumar G, Gagan Dev Riar, and Hussain Dalal in key roles.
