NavPrakriti partners NASH Energy for recycling

NavPrakriti, a lithium-ion battery recycling firm, on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with NASH Energy, a company under the NASH Group, to strengthen sustainable battery recycling and end-of-life management.

According to a company statement, the collaboration will ensure responsible end-of-life management of all batteries produced by NASH Energy, including production scrap generated during the manufacturing process.

The partnership aims to promote sustainability, resource security and regulatory compliance while supporting the development of a circular economy in the battery ecosystem.

Commenting on the collaboration, Akhilesh Bagaria said the initiative goes beyond meeting regulatory requirements.

“Our collaboration with NASH Energy goes beyond regulatory compliance; it is about building a foundation for responsible battery material recovery and circularity at scale,” Bagaria said.

He added that the partnership would help drive industry best practices in battery recycling while contributing to India’s broader net-zero ambitions by promoting efficient recovery and reuse of critical battery materials.

The alliance is expected to strengthen sustainable practices in the rapidly growing battery manufacturing and energy storage sector in India.
