TPCODL has been actively promoting flagship Government of India programs such as PM-KUSUM and PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSGMBY) to encourage the adoption of clean and affordable energy. Through awareness campaigns, outreach programs and consumer interaction drives, TPCODL is guiding households on the benefits of rooftop solar and decentralized solar energy solutions. Special efforts are being made to ensure that rural communities and urban households can easily access scheme benefits, apply through simplified processes and move towards sustainable energy usage.

Dedicated awareness drives were conducted on Independence Day at various Gram Sabhas across TPCODL’s operational area. Huge participation was witnessed, with consumers expressing their appreciation for the initiative, as it helped them clearly understand the application process, eligibility and long-term benefits of adopting solar energy. More than 186 Gram Sabhas were covered and around 6,000 consumers were engaged during the awareness programs.
