Luxembourg Envoy Hails Odisha as Investor-Friendly Destination
The Ambassador of Luxembourg to India, Peggy Frantzen, on Wednesday lauded Odisha’s growing business-friendly environment, stating that Luxembourg investors see “huge potential” for growth in the state.
Speaking at the inauguration of the corporate office of VCL India Private Limited in Bhubaneswar, Ambassador Frantzen said, “The business community of Luxembourg considers Odisha one of the most investor-friendly states in India. We are confident about long-term partnerships and fruitful cooperation.”
Highlighting the deepening economic ties between Luxembourg and India, especially in the steel sector, she added, “We are very pleased to see the long-term partnership and cooperation in the steel sector, strengthened through VCL’s presence in India. I wish VCL continued success in its engagement with customers across the country.”
VCL India Private Limited, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg-based VCL Group, has expanded its footprint in India with the launch of its new office in Odisha, signaling a growing interest in the state’s industrial ecosystem.
The event was attended by senior executives, government officials, and industry stakeholders, who welcomed Luxembourg’s interest in Odisha’s investment landscape.
