KPI Green Energy’s capacity reaches 965 MWp

KPI Green Energy on Tuesday announced that its total energised capacity has reached 965 megawatt peak (MWp), marking a significant milestone in its renewable energy expansion.

In a regulatory filing, the company said it has recently energised an additional 376 MWp of solar and wind power capacity, contributing to the overall growth in its portfolio.

In the renewable energy sector, energisation refers to the process where a project receives approval from grid operators to connect to the main electricity grid after meeting all required technical and regulatory parameters.

The development underscores KPI Green Energy’s continued push to scale up its clean energy footprint, in line with rising demand for sustainable power and India’s broader renewable energy goals.
