KIIT Ranks 5th in India in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 5th position among Indian institutions in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025.

Reflecting its commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), KIIT has also bagged the 1st position in India in two key categories — Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG 16).

In the Quality Education (SDG 4) category, KIIT stands at an impressive 3rd position nationally, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in inclusive and impactful higher education.

KIIT Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta expressed pride at the achievement, stating that the global recognition reflects the institution’s ongoing efforts in promoting equity, justice, and accessible education. “This recognition is a testament to KIIT’s mission of transforming lives through education and service,” he said.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings evaluate universities across the globe on their social, economic, and environmental contributions as aligned with the UN’s SDGs. KIIT’s outstanding performance showcases its dedication to academic excellence, societal impact, and sustainable development.
