Indian Enterprises Accelerate AI Adoption: SAP

Indian Enterprises Embracing AI to Transform Core Business: SAP
Indian enterprises are moving beyond the AI hype and adopting artificial intelligence to drive real-world business transformation, according to Europe’s largest software maker SAP. The company predicts 2025 will mark a turning point as the year of measurable AI outcomes in India.
Drawing insights from SAP’s Indian customer base over a 12-month period (March 2024–March 2025), the company noted a significant uptick in AI adoption across various business operations.
“Indian organizations are no longer experimenting with AI—they are using it to achieve tangible business results,” SAP said in a statement on Wednesday.
The most widely adopted use cases include AI-generated visual insights, automatic summaries and translations, AI-assisted process analysis, and generating sales orders from unstructured data. Additionally, predictive forecasting and natural language query capabilities have gained strong traction across sectors.
These developments signal a maturing AI landscape in India, with companies focusing on boosting efficiency, improving customer experiences, and making data-driven decisions at scale.
SAP emphasized that as more enterprises in India integrate AI into their core systems, the country is poised to emerge as a key driver of AI-led business innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.
