India Emerges as Global Leader in ML-Driven Scientific Research: Report

India has rapidly positioned itself as one of the world’s most influential hubs for machine learning (ML)–enabled scientific research, according to the newly released ML Global Impact Report 2025 by Marktechpost. The findings highlight India’s accelerating role in AI-driven science, ranking the country third globally for ML-supported research published across the prestigious Nature family of journals.

The report analyzed more than 5,000 ML-relevant scientific articles published between January 1 and September 30, 2025.
