India-Bangladesh White-Ball Series Postponed 2026

India-Bangladesh White-Ball Series Deferred to September 2026
The white-ball series between India and Bangladesh, originally scheduled for August 2025, has been postponed to September 2026 following a mutual agreement between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The bilateral series was set to feature three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals, to be hosted in Chittagong and Dhaka from August 17 to 31, 2025.
In an official statement, the BCCI confirmed the rescheduling, citing the need to accommodate both teams’ international commitments and ensure scheduling convenience. “This decision has been reached following discussions between the two Boards, taking into account the international cricketing commitments and scheduling convenience of both teams,” the BCCI said.
The postponement comes amid a packed international calendar for both sides, with several multi-nation tournaments and bilateral series on the horizon. New dates for the rescheduled tour have now been fixed for September 2026.
This move is seen as a collaborative effort by both cricket boards to ensure optimal preparation and availability of key players, while maintaining the integrity and competitiveness of the series.
