The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) has inaugurated the largest batch of its pioneering On-Campus Summer Program in Management. This program, a first for any IIM in India, serves as a Pre-MBA initiative designed to offer aspiring undergraduates and graduates a comprehensive introduction to management education.

The second batch of this unique program was launched with an inaugural ceremony, marking a significant milestone in IIM Udaipur’s educational offerings. This year’s program will delve into critical areas such as Business Environment, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Digital Transformation, and Business Communication. Participants will engage with the Case Method of teaching, a hallmark of IIM’s educational approach, and will receive a Certificate of Participation upon completing the program.

The current batch comprises 150 students from various regions across India, including 72 female students. Scheduled from June 1st to June 14th, 2024, the two-week program will feature sessions with distinguished IIM Udaipur faculty, visiting industry experts, and peers from across the country. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with faculty and MBA students in a dynamic and supportive academic environment.

In his welcome address, Prof. Rajesh Agrawal, Chairperson of the Summer Program in Management, emphasized the program’s transformative potential. “IIM Udaipur’s Summer Program in Management is designed to provide a powerful and transformational experience. Immerse yourselves in the world of business and management and experience the life of an MBA student. You’ll learn from esteemed faculty and industry experts, gaining a deep understanding of what it means to be a business manager and leader. This program is your chance to explore and solidify your MBA goals and gain the confidence to pursue them. Beyond academics, you will have the opportunity to explore Udaipur’s cultural heritage and beauty and create memories that will stay with you forever,” he stated.

IIM Udaipur is the only management institute in India to offer such a two-week On-Campus Summer Program in Management, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and excellence in business education.
