Mediterranean Diet Linked to Lower Risk of Premature Death in Women, Study Finds

Adhering to the Mediterranean diet may significantly reduce the risk of premature death in women, according to new research. The study, which tracked more than 25,000 US women over a period of up to 25 years, found that those who followed the largely plant-based diet had a 23% lower risk of dying prematurely.
