‘Housefull 5’ Crosses ₹150 Crore Mark at Indian Box Office

Mumbai, June 16 :Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has added another blockbuster to his name as ‘Housefull 5’, the latest installment in the hit comedy franchise, has crossed the ₹150 crore milestone in the Indian market. The film, released on June 6, has emerged as a box office winner, drawing massive footfalls nationwide.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 boasts an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Chitrangada Singh, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Nikiten Dheer, Soundarya Sharma, Ranjeet, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, and Nana Patekar.

A unique element that set this installment apart was the release of two alternate climaxes, giving fans varied endings and encouraging repeat viewings. The creative twist has contributed significantly to its commercial success.

According to box office tracking portal Sacnilk, Housefull 5 collected ₹127.25 crore in its opening week. It maintained strong momentum in its second weekend, earning ₹6 crore on Day 8, ₹9.5 crore on Day 9, and ₹11 crore on Day 10. The film’s total Indian box office collection now stands at an impressive ₹153 crore.

The movie’s success reinforces Akshay Kumar’s box office appeal and marks yet another hit for the long-running Housefull franchise, which continues to deliver mass entertainment with a mix of slapstick humor, star power, and high production value.
