Guar Seed Futures Decline Amid Ample Supplies

Guar seed prices slipped in futures trading on Wednesday, declining by ₹3 to ₹5,415 per quintal, as ample supplies from producing regions weighed on the market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for April delivery dropped by 0.12%, settling at ₹5,415 per quintal with an open interest of 67,690 lots.
Market analysts attributed the decline to increased arrivals in major growing regions, leading to a bearish sentiment among traders. With supply outpacing demand, prices are likely to remain under pressure in the near term.
