Every AIIMS Hub of Innovation: Nadda

Every AIIMS Is a Hub of Innovation and Learning, Says Union Health Minister Nadda

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda on Friday lauded the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as vital hubs of healthcare innovation, learning, and equitable service delivery across the country. He emphasised that each AIIMS plays a crucial role in bridging regional disparities in healthcare access.

Speaking virtually at the first edition of the “Best Practices” conclave organized by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at AIIMS Nagpur, Nadda highlighted the government’s commitment to building a robust public healthcare system through the strategic establishment and development of AIIMS institutions.

“Each AIIMS is not just a hospital—it is a centre of excellence for innovation and education in healthcare. These institutions are helping deliver affordable, evidence-based care to all, while also shaping future leaders in medicine,” Nadda said.

He underlined that the AIIMS network exemplifies the government’s focus on improving healthcare infrastructure, especially in underserved regions. By fostering research, promoting best practices, and elevating the quality of medical education and patient care, AIIMS institutions continue to set benchmarks for healthcare in India.

The conclave aimed to share successful models and practices adopted across AIIMS campuses and explore ways to replicate these innovations nationwide for enhanced public health outcomes.
