ECI seeks public feedback on ECINet app

ECI Seeks Public Suggestions to Improve ECINet App by January 10

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens to share their suggestions to further improve the ECINet App, a new unified digital platform aimed at enhancing voter services and election-related information. Citizens can download the ECINet App and submit their feedback using the ‘Submit a Suggestion’ tab on the App till January 10, 2026.

The trial version of the ECINet App offers improved voter services, quicker access to polling percentage trends and faster publication of Index Cards within 72 hours of the close of polls—an exercise that earlier took several weeks or even months. The App was successfully tested during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and recent bye-elections.

According to the ECI, the platform is being continuously refined based on feedback from Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs), District Election Officers (DEOs), Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), observers and field officials. Suggestions received from citizens will also be examined and incorporated to make the platform more user-friendly. The Commission said the ECINet platform will be officially launched later this month.

The ECINet App is one of the major initiatives of the Election Commission under the leadership of Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi. Development of the App began after its announcement on May 4, 2025.

Designed as a single, unified interface for citizens, ECINet integrates nearly 40 election-related applications and websites, including the Voter Helpline App, cVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends (Voter Turnout App) and Know Your Candidate (KYC) App. The App is available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the ECI said.
