Satish Salian, father of Disha Salian, former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has moved the Bombay High Court seeking a fresh probe into her mysterious death in June 2020.

Satish Salian has urged the court to direct the registration of an FIR against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray and transfer the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He claimed that crucial aspects of the case remain uninvestigated.

The demand for a fresh probe has sparked political controversy, with a Sena (UBT) spokesperson questioning the timing of the plea, especially as the Maharashtra Budget session is underway. The party has alleged a political conspiracy behind the renewed focus on the case.

Disha Salian was found dead after reportedly falling from a high-rise building in Mumbai in June 2020, just days before the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Both cases had stirred nationwide debate, with multiple theories and allegations surrounding them.

The Bombay High Court is yet to respond to the petition, and further developments in the case are awaited.
