Olympians Dhiraj Bommadevara and Deepika Kumari showcased their prowess by clinching the men’s and women’s recurve titles at the Archery Senior National Championships here on Friday.

Deepika, representing Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB), secured the women’s championship by defeating her Paris Games teammate Ankita Bhakat 6-2 in the final. Despite losing the second set, Deepika regained her form and outperformed Ankita to capture the national title.

In the men’s category, Dhiraj Bommadevara triumphed with a commanding performance, reinforcing his reputation as one of India’s top archers.
