Congress Appoints Rama Chandra Kadam as CLP Leader in Odisha Assembly

BHUBANESWAR: On Sunday, the Congress party announced the appointment of Rama Chandra Kadam as the new Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader in the Odisha assembly. The decision was approved by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, as confirmed in a letter from AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal to Ajoy Kumar, the party’s Odisha in-charge.

In addition to Kadam’s appointment, the party has also made key appointments within the assembly. Basudevpur MLA Ashok Das has been named as the deputy Congress Legislature Party leader, and Rajgangpur legislator C.S. Raazen Ekka will serve as the chief whip.

These changes come as the Congress seeks to strengthen its leadership and organization within the Odisha assembly.
