Odisha CM Mohan Majhi Hoists BJP Flag on 46th Foundation Day
Bhubaneswar, April 6:
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday hoisted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) flag at the party’s state headquarters in Bhubaneswar to mark the 46th foundation day of the party.
The event was attended by several senior leaders, including BJP’s Odisha unit president Manmohan Samal, state in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, and Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi, among others. The celebration reflected a strong show of unity and enthusiasm among the party cadre.
Extending his wishes on the occasion, CM Majhi took to social media platform X and stated, “The BJP, which is the world’s biggest political party, has transformed into a nationwide movement thanks to the tireless efforts of every member, from grassroots workers to senior leaders.”
The 46th foundation day of the BJP is being celebrated across the country, with party offices organizing flag hoisting ceremonies, discussions on the party’s journey, and outreach activities. In Odisha, the party’s growing strength was evident as the event drew a large number of supporters and workers.
The BJP, founded on April 6, 1980, has emerged as a dominant force in Indian politics, and under its current leadership, aims to expand its footprint further in Odisha ahead of the upcoming elections.
