BJP Govt in Odisha Completes 500 Days: CM Majhi Says All Poll Promises Fulfilled

As the BJP government in Odisha marked 500 days in office, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday said his administration has successfully implemented all promises made in the 2024 Assembly election manifesto.
Majhi, who was sworn in as Odisha’s first BJP Chief Minister on June 12, 2024, expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their continued support. In an official statement, he said that “keeping promises made to the people” remains the guiding principle of his government.
“Your unwavering support and trust are the foundation of our government’s success. We have promptly implemented all the promises we made as a ‘people’s government’. Our basic principle is ‘keeping our word’. Inspired by this mantra, we have set a new and people-centric standard of governance in the state,” Majhi stated.
Under the BJP government, Odisha has witnessed reforms in agriculture, education, health, infrastructure, and welfare schemes, Majhi noted. He added that the government has been working tirelessly to ensure transparency, accountability, and inclusive development across all sectors.
The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to transforming Odisha into a prosperous and self-reliant state, guided by the principles of good governance and public service.
