Binance Junior Adds Gifting, Learning Features

Binance has announced a significant upgrade to its family-focused platform, Binance Junior, with the introduction of new features designed to strengthen crypto savings habits and financial literacy among children and teenagers.

Launched in December 2025, Binance Junior was created as a secure, parent-controlled environment for users aged 6 to 17. The platform enables families to explore digital assets together while ensuring that parents retain full supervision and control over account activity.

The latest update introduces a Festive Red Packet gifting feature, allowing children to receive crypto gifts from family members with parental approval. Inspired by traditional gifting customs, the feature aims to make digital asset transfers more engaging and culturally relevant for families.

In addition, Merchant Pay functionality has been integrated into the platform, enabling supervised payments for approved purchases. This feature is designed to help young users understand real-world applications of digital currencies in a controlled and educational setting.

To further enhance financial education, Binance Junior now includes direct access to the “ABCs of Crypto” eBook within the app. The educational tool breaks down complex crypto concepts into simple, age-appropriate lessons, helping demystify blockchain and digital assets for young learners.

According to Binance, the new features reinforce the platform’s core objective: empowering parents to safely introduce their children to digital finance. Parents can enable or disable specific features, monitor transactions, and maintain oversight through an intuitive interface.

With these enhancements, Binance aims to position Binance Junior not just as a savings tool, but as a comprehensive learning ecosystem that fosters responsible financial behavior and digital literacy from an early age.
