Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ crosses Rs 47 crore mark in two days

Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, has made a strong impact at the domestic box office, collecting Rs 47.25 crore gross within just two days of its release.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film opened in theatres on Friday with an impressive Rs 21.60 crore. It witnessed further growth on Saturday, earning Rs 25.65 crore, taking its total domestic collection past the Rs 47 crore mark.

The horror-comedy also features Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal and Tabu in key roles, adding to its ensemble appeal.

Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, the film is produced by Akshay Kumar in collaboration with Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor, under the banner of Cape of Good Films.

With a strong opening weekend and positive audience turnout, “Bhooth Bangla” is expected to maintain its momentum in the coming days, especially with favourable word-of-mouth and the star power of Akshay Kumar driving footfall in theatres.
