Aluminium Futures Gain as Traders Build Fresh Positions

Aluminium prices edged higher on Thursday, rising by 45 paise to ₹262.10 per kilogram in the futures market as traders placed fresh bets amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium futures for April delivery increased by 0.17%, reaching ₹262.10 per kg in 1,375 lots.
According to analysts, the rise in aluminium prices was driven by strong demand from consuming industries and the creation of fresh positions by traders. Market sentiment remained positive as industrial activity and demand for the metal continued to support price movements.
Experts suggest that aluminium prices may remain firm in the near term, influenced by global trends and domestic demand dynamics.
