AIIA-iCAINE, DSRRAU Sign MoU to Boost Ayurveda Innovation

The All India Institute of Ayurveda–iCAINE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University (DSRRAU) to strengthen innovation, research and entrepreneurship in the Ayurveda sector.

The agreement, signed on April 27 at the DSRRAU campus in Jodhpur, aims to promote technological advancement and build a robust ecosystem for Ayurveda-based innovation. The MoU was formalised by Prof. (Vaidya) Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, Director of AIIA, and Prof. (Vaidya) Govind Sahay Shukla, Vice-Chancellor of DSRRAU.

Officials said the collaboration will focus on translating traditional Ayurveda knowledge into evidence-based, market-ready solutions. It will also provide students, researchers and faculty members with mentorship, training, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Under the partnership, participants will benefit from incubation support, innovation programmes, idea-pitching sessions, workshops and industry interactions. Joint initiatives such as innovation challenges and ideation camps are also planned.

The three-year agreement is expected to advance the objectives of the Ministry of Ayush by fostering innovation-driven growth and creating a supportive environment for Ayurveda-led ventures in India.
