Adani stocks surge after US trade deal

Adani group stocks rally; Adani Green jumps nearly 11%
Shares of Adani group companies surged on Tuesday, led by Adani Green Energy, which jumped nearly 11 per cent, amid a sharp rally in the Indian equity market following the announcement of a trade deal between India and the US. Under the deal, the US will reduce the reciprocal tariff on Indian goods to 18 per cent, boosting investor sentiment.
Adani Green Energy soared 10.61%, while Adani Enterprises rose 10.38% and Adani Energy Solutions gained 10.23%. Other group stocks also witnessed strong gains: Adani Ports jumped 9.12%, Adani Power surged 6.76%, Adani Total Gas rose 4.52%, Sanghi Industries climbed 3.60%, Ambuja Cements edged up 3.45%, NDTV gained 2.91%, and ACC rose 2.08% on the BSE.
Among Sensex-listed companies, Adani Ports emerged as the biggest gainer for the day, reflecting renewed investor confidence in the group amid positive macroeconomic developments and easing trade barriers. The strong performance of the Adani stocks contributed significantly to the overall market rally.
